David J Ebner founded Content Workshop in 2013 while earning his M.F.A. at the University of Tampa. David has adapted his creative writing and storytelling skills for commercial use and has built an agency around that core premise. He authored Kingmakers: A Content Marketing Story and has coached dozens of writers and students in the craft of storytelling.

Senior Director of Content and Brand
Riley Manning is a writer and strategist with extensive journalism and creative agency experience. A master wordsmith and the second employee hired by Content Workshop, Riley leads Content Workshop’s Brand Identity services, including all voice and verbal messaging projects. Riley’s Master in Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing has solidified his ability to tell stories across the commercial and creative spectrum.

Susan Ishmael is a writer with 20+ years of advertising and marketing experience. From copywriter to VP of Sales, Susan has worked in writing, sales, and leadership roles for both agencies and media companies. She has an MFA in creative writing and has been with Content Workshop in various roles since 2018.

Christina Rowell, Ph.D., is a content production and strategist expert. She has over ten years of experience leading content production teams that write, edit, and create content for a variety of industries. Her experience in academia has added diverse layers of detail, research, and strategy to the deliverables that Content Workshop produces for clients.

Meet Jenn, a creative wizard with over 16 years of web design, graphic artistry, and consulting. By day, she crafts captivating websites, curates stunning graphic pieces, and offers insightful consulting services, while moonlighting as a mom of three. When not at her digital drawing board, she's either unschooling one of her kids, lifting heavy weights, or exploring nature with her quick-witted IT wizard husband.

Kait, a third-year law student and part-time copywriter, joined the Content Workshop team in 2022. She is also a senior staff editor for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law. During her free time, Kait enjoys creating content for social media, trying new recipes, and hanging out with her cat, Rosie.
